about SIDEWINDER:
Winner of the 4th Annual Molly Finn Battle of the Bands, Sidewinder is a Portsmouth RI based band that has performed at many local venues like Jimmy’s Saloon, the Blue’s Café, the Police Parade, Gillary’s, Common Fence Point and Plymouth Blues/Rock Fest. Formed three years ago the band features vocalist Chris Vaillancourt on guitar, Elias Wheeler on bass and Zig Coffey on drums. While the band initially performed classic rock covers as opening acts for older bands they have recently begun playing original scores written by Vaillancourt.
The concert will be held in the nature preserve's Quarry Meadow. Seating is on the grass — bring a blanket or lawn chair and arrive 15 minutes prior to the performance to ensure a place to park and time to make your way down to the quarry meadow. Parking is available in the Rogers High School parking lot. FREE
