Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes as trails are uneven and steep in areas.
Event goers may want to bring a flashlight.
ILLUMINARY SPONSORS:
Enjoy an evening walk in the quarry meadow of Ballard Park when it is transformed into a magnificent blooming winter garden of lights. Thousands of lights will sparkle in a series of unique displays again this year.
Additionally there will be exhibits by students enrolled at Rogers High School, St. Michael's Country Day School, the Newport Community Opportunity Zone, the Newport Community School and the Middletown COZ at Gaudet.
The Illuminated Garden is a free event and open to the public from 6 to 9 pm each night. It will be held, weather permitting (check our web site for weather advisories) on Thursday, 2/18, Friday 2/19 and Saturday 2/20. The event may be accessed through the Hazard Road entrance.
PLEASE NOTE: Trails are rugged and may be muddy and dark in places ... please wear appropriate shoes or boots. Event goers may also want to bring a flashlight.
