Sponsorships help Friends of Ballard Park offer free, community-oriented events. Sponsorships are available for the following events:

5th ANNUAL ILLUMINATED GARDEN
February 19 & 20, 2010

A family-oriented, free event during school vacation week, the Illuminated Garden features thousands of light displays in the park's quarry meadow. Displays erected by professional tree climbers will be combined with exhibits created by local art students.

MOLLY FINN BATTLE OF THE BANDS
July 17, 2010

The event engages local youth in a positive way and awards recording time and concert opportunities to top performing bands. Eight bands will compete in this family-friendly event which features an attendance ranging from 500 to 700 people.

Since 2006, movie goers have been invited to bring a blanket, beach chairs and picnic dinner to the quarry meadow of Ballard Park to enjoy free movie screenings.
