Friends of Ballard Park welcomed 720 concert goers to is MUSIC MONTH series in 2011. Jenkins Construction Company of Middletown, RI was the presenting sponsor of the series which featured twenty two musicians performing in a total of four concerts. Members of Sidewinder, winner of the 4th Annual Molly Finn Battle of the Bands, opened the series on Wednesday, July 6th. Vocalist Chris Vaillancourt and guitarist Elias Wheeler invited "guest drummers" to join them for their concert including Mike Collins who performed with Bloody Knuckles, winner of the 1st Annual Molly Finn Battle of the Bands.

Mark Quinn was back with a star studded line up on July 13th. Ten musicians took to the stage before a fast moving rain storm moved in. Mark Quinn, DeNeille Thompson, Gracious Audette, Jimmy Warren & Craig Howell, Jim McGrath, Big Cat Blues and Peter Lucci entertained the crowd of one hundred plus in a cabaret-style format organized by Mr. Quinn.

The most well attended concert was on the morning of July 20th when the Toe Jam Puppet Band returned to Ballard Park. Close to 350 people, most of whom were children, danced, sang, performed on stage and congo'd with the trio who have developed their own special brand of interactive entertainment.

On the evening of July 20th the Clarke Cooke House sponsored a concert by their house band, the Foreverly Brothers. Playing music appealing to all generations were Frank Piccirilli on guitar and vocals, George D. Lorenzo on guitar and Jon Litwin on bass. One hundred fifty five people turned out for the group that "plays music for the baby boomer generation".

Seating is on the grass — bring a blanket or lawn chair
and arrive 15 minutes prior to the performance to ensure
a place to park and time to make your way
